Default CF outriggers

Hello, need new poles for my Taco Grand slam 280 bases on a 33ft conch.

Thinking carbon fiber and either Taco or Lee external poles but see marsh tacky highly recommended on here.

Do you guys like the external or internal systems from Marsh Tacky?

Was planning on collapsible as I've read that need to stow them with CF to avoid corrosion/clear coat degradation but no trailering so open to fixed, is this accurate you need to store them or can i leave them on year round here in Florida?

Like exposed Carbon look but if they need to be stored and the white finish can stay on i'll go that route?

Marsh Tacky without a doubt. I've had them for a few years (collapsible), and they look like new.

I have original blyriggers, leave them stored out year round, they still look great.
Coat em with wax once a year like the boat and shouldn’t have to treat em any differently than anything else.

Any of the CF options out there now are great.

Gemlux, love mine

Like said above, throw a coat of wax on them, good to go.

If you keep the boat on a lift, go internal. No reason to go collapsible.

I have Marsh Tacky 24' White Internals, and am completely satisfied with both them and the Gemlux bases. My riggers suffered some staining from the pollen that falls off of live oak trees that I've been fighting to remove, and that would make me consider at least not going white again, but they look great.

Support from Wes was fantastic - he has helped with rigging ideas on multiple occasions, and was very helpful getting me a new mounting sleeve when I upgraded to the Gemlux bases.

I ordered some marsh tacky external collapsible to have flexibility to collapse, open box would’ve been nice but I’ll report back once I get the marsh tackys. From everyone here I imagine I’ll give a great review.

thanks everyone
