Default Pulley Ridge Party

Big thank you to Carl for his great photos from his recent Pulley Ridge trip. With a new pair of slow pitch jig rods he had an incredible time. Can’t wait to see his next adventure!

I'm confused on what this post is saying? You are posting someone else's trip and thanking them for it? Maybe let Carl post his own trip? Just don't understand the post.

I thought the post was for us to ask for info about the new pair of "slow pitch jig rods".

But I didn't see any "slow pitch" rod in the pictures.

Jags, Carl has been a great friend for about 40 years. He's is one of the lucky ones that have the time to go fishing nearly everyday. I've learned so much about fishing from Carl. In fact in New Jersey, he is well known as a fishing Ambassador. It has rained everyday here for the past month in Jersey, waters cold, season just a hasn't started yet. So I post about great catches that I hear about. Grunts? not sure what you mean? "no slow pitch rod in the photo"

Are you calling what he is holding in photos 2,4, & 5 a "slow pitch jig rod"

Anyway, looks like he had a nice trip, hope you get great spring weather for your own trip soon.

I looked at slow pitch set ups, they are so expensive and no one ever sells them used.

Plenty of reasonable priced rods and reels.

Try contacting the Reel Seat in Brielle NJ
