Default lure bag complaint

Does it really cost that much more to put a grommet on a lure bag that can't rust?

Kind of like the yellow boat bags from Bass Pro with all the D rings that rust out.

My C & H lure bags grommets haven't rusted but then I've had them for several years.

I don't imagine a good grommet costs more than $1 probably like 25 cents.

The white ones have plastic zippers & plastic D-rings, plastic does not rust. But I agree with OP I have several lure bags and are clearly designed & marketed for saltwater use but have grommets that rust.

The grommets I have are brass, non magnetic, and don't rust. If you have a setter I'll send you a few...

I'm talking more about the one pocket ones, most wraps don't have grommets although some do.

I brought my yellow bass pro boat bag back to them last week and complained about the D rings and zipper. They said no to replacement or return.

The offshore angler ones are all plastic but the zippers aren't the greatest but I have them overloaded.

Well shit, I was just about to buy one. I have a white BP on that's more than 10 years old and it's still going strong.

Beats heck out of me.... go to Lowe's, HD or anyplace and take a magnet to see if their all brass or just coated....
I'm certain McMster-Carr would have some nice, high priced ones.....

I learned that the white ones are metal free, after I bought three of the yellow ones... I need to see if they make a huge white one for my type 1's.
