Default USVI in May

The woman twisted my arm and making me go to St. Johns for a week right on top of the full moon (May 18). To anyone who is familiar with the fishery, is the much of an opportunity to raise any Marlin around the full moon in May? Everything I have read online indicates later summer is better, but I was wondering if there was a realistic opportunity to target marlin when I go.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are some early Marlin bites to the south in late spring/earlier part of the summer, and from June-September the bite concentrates along the North Drop. Not the peak of the Marlin bite during that month/lunar phase but worthwhile to try and raise one on a full day trip where some ground can be covered
