Default A good handheld brush?

I need a good handheld brush, one where I can scrub my boats water/scum line from the water.

I have Surehild deck brushes and pole, but I can't get the leverage I need to adequately brush the waterline. I have been taking my brush off my pole and using that when I would beach the boat, but the brush head isn't really consdusive for that.

What do you suggest?

You've got a couple options. If you want a brush you can easily hold in your hand and still fit on the pole, check this out. It's fibers are soft, but very dense so the brush has scrubbing power.

If you want a small, hand held unit with stiff bristles, you'll want this brush. There is also a slightly larger version available with a handle, although I prefer to use the utility brush.

Let me know if you've got any more questions or if you want to bounce ideas.

Thanks. That first option might be best since the area I will be scrubbing also has bottom paint - petit vivid white.

I have a yellow bristle and a red/yellow bristle deck brushes. How does this brush/bristles compare?

The Hammerhead (option 1) has soft bristles, but very closely packed together. The result is that it feels only slightly stiffer than the soft brush.
