Remember that cleaner waxes have an aggregate in them designed to cut the gelcoat slightly and you usually want to use a pad that supports that, especially on gelcoat. Again, you should be fine with the red, but just keep an eye on it.
Thanks CaptSam,
Perhaps I will check to see if the local West Marine has the orange pad. If not, I will used the red. Appreciate the help. This will be my first time using the polisher so I'm hoping I get good results. Again, the hull is in great condition but I just want to clean and put a nice protective shine on it.

That's a good price. I have to say the dual action polisher pro is a fantastic tool. I did my 22' boat in about 1 1/2 hrs. Very easy to use.

It's the same machine. 3500 is the Dual Action Polisher Pro's part number.

The best polisher is the one someone else is using on your boat. My back is hurting thinking about the last time I waxed an entire boat with a polisher.

Hey Mark,

How old is your polisher? We warranty all of our machines for all defects through one year after purchase. After that, we usually have them shipped to us for repair at a flat rate. Let me know here or send me a PM, whatever is easiest for you.
