Default Need help choosing transducer for Simrad EVO 3 12 inch, mostly for diving..

I am not to far from my 28' WhiteWater going into the mold. I will be running twin Merc 225 V6 four strokes. The information I have says the Simrad integrates better with the Mercs, so why fight it. I will be mounting The EVO 3 12 inch with a seven inch for backup, we will mostly be in the Bahamas diving in 50 feet or less, we will fish on the way across when dolphin and anything else swimming under floating objects get in our way, with some occasional reef fishing.
I would like to get a transducer that does not need a big chunk cut out of the hull, maybe there is one that just has the post going through the hull. The priority will be for finding good bottom for lobstering and spearfishing.
Thanks for your help.

If you only want to cut one hole I’d go with one that kinda does an all around good job and gets the most out of the built in sounder if the evo 3. A b175m. If you want two of them which is a popular option I’d do a b175hw and a b175L for deeper water.
