Default Garmin chartplotter upgrade

I have two 5215's and one of them is giving me problems, I want to upgrade the 1 giving me problems. I have the nema 2000 network. Which unit do you recommend so that it can still work together as it does now.

Todo that you need a legacy unit such as a another 5212 or 6212 ..7212 etc.

All the new units such as the 1242xsv or 7612xsv ,8612xsv cannot share images with older the legacy units.

well if I am going to upgrade I might as well go with chart plotters that are not discontinued. What would you recommend that I get that will work with my GMR radar and gsd 24 sounder

If you are using a single transducer..then a Garmin 1242xsv...$2199.for button...$2799. for a 1242xsv touch.
And you will not need the GSD-24 as the sonar is built in.
And the antenna is built in..no need for your external one you have now.

and you can add side scan if you wish..that is built in also
