Default Dual Transducer Mounting

Thoughts?? Twin outboard engine application. Engines mounted on Stainless Marine bracket. Mounting second transducer, different freq than first transducer. How far amount should the two transducers be apart? Transom mount transducers.

Gil, do you think 8" will be okay start? Existing transducer is 4" of centerline, thinking of mounting the new one opposite side 4" of centerline. No strakes or fittings in front. I can go a little further than that on the new one but another 3" I've got a water pick up fitting.
