Default Upgrading from older Furuno to New Garmin??

Long time reader first time post- looking to get new electronics for my world cat, they are the early 2000s Furuno Fcv582 and Furuno Radar.

80% fishing is for salmon in pacific under 200’ , trolling. I’ve never could see any salmon(could see bait balls) with the furuno although I heard there hard to see for they don’t use there bladders while in the ocean. The others 20% is for bottom fish so finding the structures/reefs is key- also under 300’.
Hopefully some albacore in the future !😬

Really like the Garmin 7612 being non touch since I’m in a CC and everything’s damp most of the morning fishing so touch screen is a no go-
Need a chart plotter/fishfinder and Radar bundle
Thanks in Advance!

Look at the Garmin 1242xsv button and a B175C -HW transducer.
Excellent for Salmon.
