Default 2 gps/fishfinders vs one large 12” combo unit

I am trying to set up my boat with either a 7” simrad and 9” axiom or thinking about a large 12” lowarance ? Any thoughts?

Lake fishing in TN and Orange Beach AL, Gould coast in shore and no further than 15 miles.
