Default Inshore transducer for Garmin 7610XSV

I rarely go more than 50-60' depth, and most of my fishing is in less than 15', and I would like to have some good sideview imaging. I was looking at the GT52SW and had my mind made up. Then I ran across your post about the GCV20 Box with GT32UHD transducer. Would that be a nice upgrade for me, or is it not compatible with the 7610xsv. I already have a thruhull transducer installed from the factory on my Scout. I'm not sure what model it is (maybe a B60). It does not do any sideview or downview, those menu items don't even work.

The 7610xsv is compatible with the GCV 20 system... ...no problem.

For your depth..a nice unit.

And I would be much happier with that setup vs just the GT52SW or a GT51? Your opinion anyway.

And to clarify, I have the 7610xsv model screen and Garmin's website doesn't specifically mention it's compatibility with the GCV20. Just the standard 7610.

It is compatible with the full line of 7600 and 7600xsv units...I have sold about 15 to date to xsv end users.
Garmin's site is just not accurate..etc.

The GCV 20 have a good bit more detail on the side scan than the GT52HW....and much better on fish
