Default CV51M or GT52HW

Hi Gil,

First off, I really enjoy all the great electronics info I've gleaned over the past several years of lurking on Semperfifishing. Thank you.

Now, for my question...Side imaging and accurate depth readings are my main concerns. Is the CV51M a good choice for soft bottom, brackish, shallow water (6 to 30' without much structure) or would the GT52HW (when available) be a better choice? Cost is not a big factor. Appreciate your thoughts.

For detail under the boat...the GT version with its dedicated down element will give better structure detail.
And the I would use the GT51 if gong deeper than 150'...as it is more sensitive and the overall best results.
Under 100'...the GT52HW is fine.
