Default Second station options - garmin 7612xsv owner

Hey Gil -

Adding a marlin tower on my parker, and looking for a networked unit to pair with my 7612xsv installed for my main helm purchased through you a couple years ago. Currently have multiple transducers and autopilot installed. Thinking of 7 - 8 inch display.

What options should I consider?

Thanks, bo

thanks Gil question. What would I be giving up going with a 942 vs another 76xx unit? Price is about half.

i would like to network my 7612 and the station device together and share transducers now, and a future radar.

Thanks

If you are only needing a second unit to network from the main unit..the 942 xs will be fine..all you are using it for is a monitor.
You can even use the 942 chart plotter.
