which palette is that for the sonar background in this pic on the 7610xsv?

Seems darker than the regular blue?

My goal is to try as much as possible to provide a base of knowledge for others so that they can more readily cut thru the Gordian Knot of all the technical info out there.

Are the Garmin units able to scroll back on the sonar like the Simrads?

Might as well ask since this has been resurrected. When I do that and go back to the exact mark I want I create a waypoint. My assumption was since it was tied into my GPS and track it was marking the actual mark I wanted and not my current spot. Is that correct???
