Talking New Garmin 7600xsv Series....First walk thru...

Below is a basic walk thu of the pages on the 7607xsv using the demo mode so members who have not seen this unit can get a feel ..

This is a very intuitive system....simple and easy to acces any and all pages and functions.
It has a preloaded manual but honestly you don't even need it..anyone can run this system out of the box by simply folling the menue selections on the screen.

In a nutshell....this is clean.

Those are all screen shots stored in the Demo Mode..and all are from actual systems.

That shot I think is from the High band of the B265...the B175 H would show about the same.

I have the 7612XSV and I have noticed that when water gets on the screen, it thinks it's your finger and jumps all over the place. I also noted that it overrides your touch and almost locks your touch commands up. Has anyone else had this problem or heard of it? It there a fix?

I added a generic screen protector to mine like used for an I-Pad. I did this because I commercially fish and have fish slime on my hands from picking fish. So far I have not the issue that you describe. Might be worth a try.

One option is to "lock" the touch screen but the you need to use a remote or GRID to control the display, or just unlock the screen.

A quick press of the power button brings up a menu with the lock screen option.
