Hello.
Which transducer would be better suited for inhull wet box between cm275lhw vs pm275lhw.
i would have thought with the pm275lhw being 18w constant would have more power to beam threw the fibreglass or is the cm275lhw design better for this application.

The CM275 LHW is designed for wet box application....as per Airmar.

Default Quick question on transducers

I have heard from different people that I can mount my Navico 3D structure scan transom mount transducer inside my hull glued to the bottom and it will work just fine.
My question is will this work with reduced performance or do I need to buy the 2000 dollar through hull one to replace the transom mount one.
If I need to do this then I will probably just sell the whole 3D unit and just go back to my Garmin one.
Thank you for any help in this.
