Default FYI...Airmar Mix and Match Transducers Explained.

For anyone looking into getting a transducer the Airmar Mix and Match system is one to put high on your list.
Many of the current traditional sonar transducers are available in a dedicated version..that is..it can only work with one system.
But by using the Mix and Match Airmar transducers..and MM cable one can use the same ducer for many different systems.

For example..the same B60MM can be used with an almost unlimited number of different sonar units from over 14 different manufacture categories.
This same B60 transducer can work with over 100 different sonar models...just by changing or ordering the applicable mix and match cable.

Another example: TM260 Mix and Match.
This same transducer shown above can be use with:
All Simrad NSE,NSO,NSS w/BL connectors, All Furuno with 10 pin connectors,Furuno 667,582, All Garmin 6 pin units 500 watts and more, All Garmin xs & xsv series and GSD24, All Humminbird 800,900 and most 100 sereis, Navman -Northstar 6 pin, Simrad NX40/45, Raymarine DSM400,DSM30,250,300,A50d,A57D,A65D,A700d,DSM25,a6 5,a67,e7d,e97,C127,e127,Sitex CVs 126/128,1410,SVS650/750..
Just to mention a few.

I know this is an old post but how could I go from my old thru hull B60-12 6 pin to a 12 pin garmin unit? a buddy gave me a Garmin echoMAP CHIRP 94sv. I know I may not be able to use all of the functions but I have the thru hull in place... thanks for any advice
