Default Help Installing a Garmin 5212

I am replacing my ray marine C120 with a Garmin 5212 with a GSD22. My transducer is a Airmar B256. I bought the garmin transducer adapter and connected it to the 5212. It worked for a few minutes then GSD22 started blinking red and the 5212 said the transducer was disconnected or something like that. Can anyone help me diagnose what might be the issue? How can i tell if there is an issue with my transducer? Thank you!

You may need to call Garmin Support on this one.....

First...it would have been better to use the GSD 24.....and second..it may be a software issue.

depends on how it's blinking, most likely it's the network cable. look under Configure > System > System information > Garmin Devices and see if the GSD22 is listed.
here's what the lights mean
