Default Furuno GP 1971f

Hi Gil, Please give me a price on a furuno gp1971f? I now have a Raymarine C80 with P66 transducer. Can I use the P66 transducer? Can I use the P66 with the furuno gp1971f? Would I need a cable to convert my existing P66 Raymarine to furuno gp1971f (If I do how much would the conversion cable be? Is there any negatives in using the P66? I have now own several Navionics chips the I used for my Raymarine C80, (I do not think they would work with the furuno gp1971f?). I also own a Garmin chip that I use on my Garmin echomap (I assume this would not work with furuno gp1971f?) Do I have to purchase a C Map chip for the furuno gp1971f in order to use the unit? How much would a C Map chip be for the Chesapeake Bay area? Also is the furuno gp1971f the latest version of the unit?
Thanks for help,
Richard Markman

You can use the P66..you need to cut the plug and hard wire in a 10 pin Furuno 10 pin pig tail.

A better transducer woudl be the Tm165HW....and it is plug and play.

Can I get a quote on the Garmin 942xs with the 165HW Tranducer? I fish for Salmon in 400ft of water or less. I have have the 18 xHD radar which I assume will connect with no issues.

The radar and the 942xs will work together.
A 942xs and a TM165 is $1755 shipped.
