Default Sonarhub

I believe my internal sonars are going out on my Evo2's. I had spotted lines moving diagonally across my screens the last time I went out and was losing bottom a lot. If I did't have that Go7 I bought from you as a backup, my day would have been a total waste.

I assume the Sonarhub would be the most cost effective solution? I have a totalscan and a HDI 50/200 455/800 T/M transducers. I also have an airmar TM265, but i think there is something wrong with it since I bought the boat with it. The guy cut the wire and put in a junction box.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Byrdman

The evo2 is only single band..the TM265 is a dual band.

one issue..I have seen the evo2 units go out like yours..and they then would also not work with a sonar hub...

on my TM265, i split the wiring and had the L go to one and the H go to the other unit. Abbor told me how to wire it. The H works, but if i switch the plugs i could not get the L to work on either.

my 9" never seemed to work on sonar since i bought the boat. I know the prior owner didnt have the wiring right with this transducer, and the Low Chirp may have cause it. My 7" works for now but seems to be acting funny. It was not a big deal before, i would put chart on 9" and sonar and down or side scan on the 7" evo2 and Go7.

if i wanted to upgrade my 9" evo2 to a 3, what would i be looking at?

thanks,
Byrdman

Only using the high band on a dual band unit is not a good thing as one spends $ for the L band.... which cannot be used.
Many use the TM185M or TM 185HW....less $ and they are excellent.

So for the TM265 to work both bands a NSS7 evo3, NSS9 evo3 etc.

NSS9 evo3 is $2299..and we add a 3rd year of factory warranty at no cost...for our customers thru July.

thanks! TBH, a tm185 is probably overkill for what i do. 90% is done in 200' or less. spearfishing in less than 100' and bottom fishing up to 250'. If anything, a tm150 could do almost everything for me for a lot less $.

thanks!

If you go evo3..the look at the 3 in1 Active image..it is better than TM150...and less $

Agreed, the 3 in1 is going to be better option than the TM150.
