Default Simrad go9, Garmin 4208, and Furuno FCV 628

Thinking about getting a Simrad GO 9, my concern is with the intergraded gps antenna will the single strength be compromised since I want to mount the unit in an enclosed Electronics box. I have a Garmin 4208 w/ a nema2k network would the Simrad be able to take the single from the Garmin? Will the waypoints be exchanged between the two units?

Main reason I want to go with the GO9 is to leverage navionics maps and structure scan, would I be able to run structure scan and the Furuno at the same time with out any interference?

Thanks,

Tom

The Simrad and Garmin cannot share the GPS antenna.

Gil,
Is that because the Go series/models don't "network" in the sense like a NSS? Could a Garmin external GPS antenna connected to the NMEA backbone be used to get GPS signal?

Understood that the waypoints from the Garmin will not transfer over to the Simrad Go.
