I have a '95 Johnson 225 that I just ordered the carb rebuild kits for (qty: 6) . Anyone have the procedure for removal, clean, adjust, sync, etc for this? Fax or email pdf file?

Incidentally, the marina wanted $340 for a starter - I picked one up new on eBay for $77.

Drops to 5.3v...
Gonna substitute the charger for the batteries (disconnect).
That should tell me if one of the batteries is bad, right?
What if the same condition persists?

Engine was running, then sat for 5-6 weeks. Started up, ran for 20 secs, died. Then refused to start. Nothing.

Replaced the starter - no change. Still the same (ignition on, starter solenoid...

Done!
Broke the seal with a razor knife then rocked it loose with vise-grips on the plug.

My garboard drain weeps for days (maybe weeks). It's a black kinda water (foam rot?). Anyway, I want to replace the garboard drain, I think it may leak (not bedded correctly and/or plug doesn't fit...

Actually, that's what was in there, but replaced them with the shop manual recommendation for v6 oil injected engines.
Switching back will make a difference?
