GPS 76C x lost it's backlight

My GPS 76C x is now dimmed. All other fnctions seem to work but very difficult to use, especially (of course) at night.
Does Garmin still repair these??

I find RM's AIS (C-120 w) feature all but useless . Targets are all the same size (tiny); all the same color (dull grey); unreadable predictor (same color, black dashes, not all targets); and more....

I've used the LectraSan for about 20 years and still love it. It draws about 20A for two minutes or so, each cycle. I don't usually initiate a cycle each time I use the unit, so total AH is minimal....
