look as long as you can bond there wil not be a problem. but make sure you zincs are good on your motor. I personally use plastic thru hulls and seacocks...just can;t remember what the damn things...

Look man just make the connection fill ends with liquid electrical tape and then shrink wrap it done deal even if water hits it nnevr and corrosion

Okay here you go I have a 01 tundra V6 and Towing a wooden hull about 2000lbs. I get about 14.5 mpg.... My wife owns a 06 4runner V8 and I pull the same boat and get 16 mpg.....with out pulling any...
