I would think you need the 36v. I have a 24v Rhodan on my 20' Key West and it was working hard to stay anchored in 3' seas last week.

We fished site 5 on Sunday. Had a few hard hits that we didn't get the hook set on. Otherwise it was just non stop grunts. It seemed like they went for every bait we put down.
