I keep my outboard trimmed all the way down to keep bow down. Then use trim tabs to adjust port and starboard list depending on who and what is in my boat. This is just what works best for my boat....

No. In Maryland it is sort of the opposite. Commercial Charter boats can keep 2 rockfish per person per day and private boats can keep 1 per person. My guess is charter boats have more out of state...

I prefer outboards. You can trim them up to basically propel the boat at the same depth as your hull if needed. They are also usually easier to work on and maintain. And if you need to replace easier...
