Your boat is stored indoors. IMO waxing is not needed. Wash the hull before you store and you should be fine. My boat is 18 years old and never been waxed and hasn't sunk yet.:Q

Since I store my boat inside a garage I only remove the fishing rods and put them in a rack. Everything else is washed and dried and left in the boat.

Next trip all I have to do is load the rods...

The water in a Carolina skiff is in the hull forward of the transom. Removing the transducer screws won't drain this water unless the screws extend all the way through the transom.
