010-10785-00
010-10522-00

These are the mounting bracket and the power cable. I...

Re: Northstar F210

The replacement sender was my concern, at $75!

Thanks for the feedback, I've been wanting to add one for a while, so I'll give it a shot and report back.

Northstar F210

Any experience with Northstar's fuel flow meter?

http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b95/ctoth/d210.gif

It looks similar to the Navman, which I can't find anywhere ;?

RE: center rigger what is best

Mark,

Where are you running your short rigger rods from (leaning post, gunnel, etc)? I'm looking to double rig our outriggers and want to make sure everything stays clear. We're adding a center...

RE: Outrigger Question

Sounds like gunnel mount bases installed on the top.

Get the Taco 250's, the angle up/down (adjustment knob above the top) and swing in/out (from below the top).

RE: rods for aftco unibutts

What you need is the ferrel that attaches to the end of the rod. This will allow you to attach different rods to your butts. I doubt you will find factory rods with just a ferrel and no butt, a...

RE: trailer brgs. and digitial temp readings? waht should they be?

Our hubs run 105 to 108 with the tires 125 to 135. The sunny side tires are usually 3-5 degrees warmer. Front and rear axles are usually within a degree or two of each other. Ambient temperatures...

RE: Ilander & Ilander Look-Alikes (Ilander Silk)

Never used it. When they get nasty, a bit of soap will clean them up. And if they get all wrinkled, hit them with your wifes hairdryer.

Gives the kids something to do.

RE: WTB Si-Tex 106

I have an old 106 CRT model. It has a thru hull transducer, but I had to cut the cable to get the plug out. Have all other wire harnesses. How much $?

RE: Downrigger ball's

I like the fish shaped or round weights for slower speed trolling. For normal (pelagic) trolling speeds, a high speed planer or z-wing is the way to go.

RE: split tailed mullet

I like dragging them on the downrigger

Usually keeps the peanuts off and increases your chances with the wahoo. Sometimes add a purple or red/black sea witch but not always.

RE: Furuno 600L temp problems

I've had the 600L for over a year with no problem with the temp. If I am not mistaken, it is just the small, removable portion from the center of the transducer. Have you tried contacting airmar to...

Yamaha 150 Oiling Problems

Having problems getting the remote tank to fill the engine mounted tank. The manual override switch works, so the pump on the remote tank is fine. Replaced the float switch on the engine mounted...

RE: I built a rod rack

I used a similar design, but I ran the rope to the bottom board, through a pulley, and then ended it at the top. Kind of hard to see, but it made
it alot easier to raise/lower.

I don't know what you are targeting trolling, but we have yet to catch anything on this coast, or the east coast for that matter, that required two speeds. IMHO, you are better off buying two...

RE: penn 30s international II rebuild

Alan, any problem with the screws backing out when you use grease? I usually drop in a couple of drips of corrosion-x, but if the grease works better, I'll give it a go.

Any hints on the secret...

How are you attaching the spectra to the spool? The cable on my Canon's is starting to kink and fray, and I'm looking to replace with spectra to reduce blowback. I'll probably top-shot the spectra...

A little dab of grease will do wonders holding that spring in place while you rotate the bridge and finish assembling the reel ;)

Re: TLD25 Upgrade

These are for TLD 25's. I figure if I've got them open, I'll clean them out!

Also, I checked the box they came in, and I don't have the tool you show in your Hotrodding post. Is this necessary...
