Re: UFC

I was pretty sure when I saw the shape that BJ was in that GSP was going to have his way with him. My main fear was BJ tagging GSP with a big right hand but he never landed anything...it was...

Re: UFC

Going with GSP...

I know Penn is an incredible BJJ practictioner but GSP wrestling is too good...plus he is a Karate and BJJ Black belt himself (but not on BJ's level). I think Penn has the shot...

Re: Brutal rough water fishing trip last time out

You suck ;)

I was striper fishing off VA Beach yesterday wearing 5 layers! We caught some fish but I long for those days trolling the blue water with shorts/t-shirt!

Re: Question about Ipods

Yes, just insert the cd into the laptop/pc and the songs will show up on iTunes and you can then decide to put them on the iPod...easy.

Re: yellow fin tuna destination

Oregon Inlet, NC May/June. Not only will you have shots at LOTS of Yellowfin, but also large Dolphin and Marlin...with the odd Wahoo mixed in. Serious shots a Bigeye Tuna as well in mid-late...

492 Chart detail...

I purchased a 492 last year. Overall, I like the unit a lot but would really like the more detailed bottom contours like I see on some other units. I know the 492 is pre-loaded with the coastal...

Re: I/o paint the drives or not..

Agree...prime it with Primacon and paint with Trilux...couple of coats of each. You can brush the trilux on and then thin it a bit and use a spray bottle to get the hard to reach areas. Paint the...

Re: Oregon Inlet Fishing

It is doable, but you better be very sure of the forecast...especially in fall. The inlet got pretty hosed up last month during a sustained NE blow (blew for a week...never under 30 knots).

Re: What other boats share a similiar hull to Carolina Classic 25'?

The Shamrock hull is nothing like a CC or an Albemarle...and I've been on 24 and 26 Shamrocks and the ride is also not similar. Great stable fishing platform, but does not have the ride of the CC or...

Re: How bad are 5-7' Out of Oregon Inlet going to be tom?

If they want to go, then you'll be fine. The inlet may be a little "fun" in the am but I believe it's supposed to lay out as the day goes on. It will be bumpy but those boats and crews can take it....

Re: Stripers at Night - eels or live bunker

Eeling here of Virginia is a night or day event but done in some different areas. At night, at the CBBT I prefer eels. Had a guy anchored next to me a couple years ago chunking bunker...he caught...

Re: 268 Albemarle

The 26's with the 24 degree deadrise are too tender for my liking...either at a dead drift or slow troll. I have never been on the newer style with the 21 degree hull.

The 24 degree hull does...

Re: VOLVO 5.7
