Welcome, great first post!

IMO the sweet spot is the most comfortable cruise speed that yields the best fuel economy.

All good advise, I believe you should first master throttle / rpm control....

Congratulations!! Mine was identical 98 w/200 (except for tabs). You are gonna love the +3MPG and +200mile range. BTW 35mi offshore on a good day is no problem.
