I would never bottom paint a clean hull right before selling it. As a buyer that would be a red flag to me that you are trying to cover something up. I'd leave it up to the next owner to bottom paint.

Is yours a TE (cabin) or open? Since ours is an open we put it in the center console. It's on its own breaker but no seperate switch. I'll see if I can snap a pic or two for ya.

Insurance rates are largely location based as well. Being in Miami like me for example you will find insurance premiums are much higher than other locations.

Next time use a torch, heat is your friend in these situations. Then use anti-siege when putting the bolts back. Other than that, breaking bolts when working on an engine is not an unusual occurrence.
