It wasnt on the boat ramp but on the highway. I didnt notice the safety chain shackle had vibrated loose. A big truck went past at 100kmhr the other way & the winch line snapped from the wind force....

I use a strip teaser dredge, a pakula witch doctor & Luremin's big teaser, depending on the crew on board.

Even artificial dredges are hard to run with an inexperienced crew

I dont think they can troll efficiently at that speed but people are more concerned with catching fish than fuel burn.

I had a single cylinder on my twin 250 etecs & it wasnt very good, motors seemed to be able to push the steering cylinder around alot, the twin cylinders made it a lot nicer boat to drive.
