I think you would really have to try to run that boat around on that route. That being said, most charts have the depths in fathoms not feet - so it looks shallow but it isn't.

Personally used the boat us out of pine island....

Personally used the boat us out of pine island. They were top notch. Even helped find a place for my boat for the night and helped fix the broken steering bracket in the morning.

I had a logic 17' back in the day. love the 21' model. I am not sure that boat requires sealant. The goal of sealant is to keep water from getting in and rotting the hulll. Your hull CAN NOT rot.

Winter tides can be very low. If you know the date and approximate time you saw that depth, you can look up the tide information. 24" of draft should allow you navigate most of the Braden river.
