Guys, I had similar issues with my old boat and tried everything to remove it, drive me nuts, but re-routing the tranny cable away from the wiring harness helped most.

The new boat has no issues...

Mate, stick it in the performance fairing, it will be way better. I have the 600W B744 in the performance fairing and it holds bottom perfectly at any speed up to flat out 37 knots in any conditions....
