Cord/rope for t-top canvas?

Iím planning to have rod holders installed on my top so I need to remove the canvas. It looks like I will need to use new cord to reinstall the canvas.

What type ape should I use?

I bought some 18w led lights to replace my existing halogen spreaders.
It says to install appropriate fuse. Iím not sure what size the fuse should be?

Any ideas?
