RE: Best Site to buy Electonics

THE BEST PLACE TO BUY YOUR ELECTRONICS IS FROM LOCAL SERVICING DEALER. THEY MIGHT BE A LITTLE HIGHER IN PRICE, BUT YOU WILL GET THE SERVICE AND SUPPORT YOU NEED. WE NEED TO SUPPORT THEM ALSO.

The cheapest is not always the best! Buy the equipment from a box dealer and get no support. Service is always important, I would buy from a full service dealer.

Electronics for my Scout 235?

I think you should look at the Furuno 1722C or Simrad CE33 with the RA 30. These are good units and will fit in your boat. I work closely with a scout dealer in S. Jersey.

Simrad SR 40 Radar

Great radar. Do you have enough space on your console? They also make a 7" color unit. Others I would look at, Furuno 1712, Furuno 1722,1732.
