Having the props close together also minimizes...

Having the props close together also minimizes the effect of the two motors running at slightly different RPM. Not as much of an issue now that most multiple motor installs sync the RPMs.

Thanks. I removed the props in December and there was a bead of caulk between the two nuts on both of the shafts. Wondered if that was standard practice. Sounds like it's not.

Loc-Tite or caulk on prop nut threads

I am going to put the props back on the boat today. Two nuts per shaft (ha ha) with a cotter pin to keep it all from backing off. Are you guys putting loc-tite or caulk or silicone on the threads...

The problems with my diet were: Meals out and craft beer. Now I don't go out to lunch, and I gave up alcohol for lent so that helps. I'm at about 1500 calories daily.
