Re: Ugh...

These are kings on the Copper River in Alaska. They're deep red, but not as red as the Copper River Reds. I can hardly tolerate eating farm fed pink carp. I'm amazed at how far salmon swim.

Re: SCUBA Diving Pranks

I've got this advice, again because I think it's really important, to any new diver. The panic thing? No one trains for that. Parts of your brain quit working REALLY FAST when the oxygen supply...

Re: Calling on the Coast Gaurd

Because it's so much worse in colder water off California, I had the following available in the ditch bag: 1 freshly charged ICOM handheld. As per above, if you're boat's sinking, so is your radio. ...

RE: engine seized....HELP....

I've revived more than a few motors from junkyards. I've found the following in older engines that haven't run.

1. A ring can bust. Even if it were winterized, there's no guarantee that it...

Re: Sopranos

Ok, I can understand when someone explains it all out but seriously, they expect too much or think too highly of themselves or their fans. They stretch this out so long and tediously this season...

I had a 2002 Trophy 2002. I had a two stroke Merc 150 on it. Empty with another person on it, it was a lively boat and I could eke out 45mph. Full load of fuel, four people, ice chest, dive gear and...

Re: kicker question

On flat water, straight ahead, no turning, maybe. But from what I've read up on, it's asking a little much. Add in some 2-3'ers, a following sea, wind, and that 9.9 will be struggling where the 15hp...

I always thought they should make a reloadable air type deal for nets like they use to catch bad guys and birds. Takes the skill out!

RE: Stolen 36' Yellowfin

I'm not trying to be a smartass here, this just comes from having built some nice 4x4s that people want to steal for some or all of the high dollar parts.
