I had an older 13 Whaler with mooring cover - 150 lbs - fairly muddy harbor bottom. Never moved.

Yes - I have 20 feet. Some links are fine, others are completely shot - would break. Is US proofed chain stamped somewhere?

Season ened about 2 weeks earlier than I thought it would. My mooring chains let go at the swivel, at the 20 foot mark.
Boat - top twenty feet of chain and float took a fuel efficient ride across...

Thanks. I wanted to avoid seperating the hose from the seacock. Something else to worry about once you mess with it, plus will require some upside down time in the transom. I know its possible...

Last year I had my saltwater systems winterized at the dealer. I am trying to remember how he did it, but he was able to run the antifreeze from the washdown through the pump and back to the livewll...

Thanks very much - will try disconnecting at the bowl and see if that eliminates the horn. If so - will service the bowl as described in the manual - drain / wipe - replace. I am still curious...

Thanks. Boat is in a wet slip all summer, so paint is happening unless I go the short haul route every few weeks, not fun.
Didn't know about the mold release. Will check Interlux site.
