It's not a Mako, it's a Classic Mako. They command more money than your regular 40 year old crappy boat. I restored a 1990 171 this winter. I paid $3500, boat was solid as far as hull and deck goes....

Cleary he does since he's pulling while on a leash. A prong collar is the answer to this problem, not a harness.

The only dogs that should have harnesses are the ones too small for a collar.

I'd replace the whole thing so you KNOW it works. I'd also add a secondary opposing stainless hose clamp to each side of the fuel filter as well if you can fit them.
