Me neither but you said that's what they said, you'll need to check on that as a tidal shift will change things. Some pics of the set up will help people better understand what you're dealing with.

If there is a 0 tide change I'd just simply tie up to the cat walk, a bow and stern line and two spring lines from the mid cleat going forward and aft. keep it simple.

I would highly recommend a Mantus Anchor for the stern if you have room to store it, they set really well. I use a Mantus dinghy anchor for my 22 but doubt that would work for your 30.
