No reason to pay more than $150 for one on ebay. It takes 20 minutes to swap them out. 4 bolts. Two on each flange once you get all the plastic out of the way.

This won't be enough drag to catch most big tuna in a reasonable amount of time. I fish 38lbs at strike and push the drag past 50lbs once things have settled. I've had quite a few 3hr plus battles....

That is a thick bulkhead with glass on both sides of a plywood core. If you are mounting it to a thin glass skin without rigidity I would mount it to an oversized starboard piece to spread the load...
