yeah ot looks like the wassp only uses a upto 1.5kw power. I havent pulled up the working specs on it yet what it can actually pick up in a real world scenario such as fish holding under structure...

I have a inboard 35 ft 10 knot boat. Transducer size won't really bother me at all. I was commercial fishing for a few years part time on my own.3 to 5 day trips in the gulf.

I want to copy them over to a digital format and have a chart plotter read them...

I will have to enter them in manually ( on a keyboard) because the scanner won't pick it up they are also in short hand.

I am going to buy a 24 hdx 2, have a few months - year max; or I just go for a 12kw hdx2 open array which is what I want to get anyway. Thanks badbag
