It is a 5-6 yrs old but lightly used Minn Kota Riptide. I believe it is 70 lb. I'm not near it right now but just thought to ask here. It is wired to 2 batteries and uses all 24 volts in reverse...

I don't want to lead you into doing any damage but, yes, my MK Riptide was (and still is) very tight to tilt up. So far no problems in 2 yrs of light use.
