I'm going back and forth between a RAM EcoDiesel, and the F-150 2.7L EcoBoost. I like them both for the MPG, and the max I would tow would be around 5K LBS. Any advice?

I would fish the patch reef's as much as possible (60' - 100'), here you can catch yellowtails, grouper, Mutton and Mangrove Snapper.

Bring a 10' or 12' Cast Net, and also buy some #6 Sabiki Rigs...

Just read this after my post. Very nice setup. Those Tiagra's will last forever as long as you take care of them. I like the Tyrnos because of how lite they are.

I have 2 of the Fin-Nor Offshore 7500 reels that I bring with me to bottom fish with. They bring fish up with out any problems, but they are a little of the heavier side.
