No one considers a 550 a pickup truck, but Ford adds them in to the mix when they report the numbers

Prob the best way to lower the rpm would would be to go to a nu,erically lower rear end gear. If you have 3.73 maybe go to 3.42 or 3.08. And if a 4wd you would need to do the front as well

well, my tuned 2006 tows heavy equipment almost daily and it has 190,000 on it with zero problems. Probaly had 10-15 lbs behind it for 140,000 of Hose miles. I stand by my statement
