RE: New Jersey Boat Show, Edison, NJ

It's a smaller boat show. I don't think they have anything over 26'. It is nowhere near the size of AC but a good show to kill the day after football season.

RE: XM & Sirius to announce merger later today

Re: Inshore Troll

The Penn Senator 6/0 will do the job, but we went with the Avet LX 6.0 and couldn't be happier. Avet's are US made. I'm not sure where Penn is making thier stuff anymore.

RE: Power Pro alternative

I switched from PP to Suffix Performance Braid and found it smoother and better casting. So far, a year, no breakoffs.

RE: Armed Forces Battalion Designations -- Military Scholar Needed

The Air Force uses Squadrons. The unit numbers are assigned in sequence also, but over the years, due to various reasons, there is no logical pattern anymore.

RE: Considering '88 SR Laguna - Transom issues

Definitely have it surveyed. From my limited experience the low end estimate to do it right would start at $3500. If he will give it to you, you still may not be able to afford it.

Cod Fishing From Montauk

We are seriously interested in doing some head boat fishing for cod out of Montauk. Anyone suggest some boats that do a good job, how long is the trip, rates and the size cod can we expect. Thanks
