Just make sure in the event that say the boat sinks the cost of the salvage does not come out of the cost of the value of the boat. IE Boats insured for 20k but salvage is 10k so you get 10k.

You can get a RV GPS and put in your height and it will map you based on your height and width.

If you trailer often just have a bracket made up for the radar thats a quick release or folding.

In the owners manual it says to inspect every 100 hours or 12 months. I just got the service manual and it says inspect every 100hrs or 6 months and replace every 200hrs or 12 months.

2019 Suzuki DF300ap. Service manual says replace spark plugs ever 200hrs. Seems excessive. On the plus side the plugs are cheap.

How often are others doing it?

Well 3/4 vs 1 ton in most cases is just payload which doesn't matter when towing. You can pull it fine. A dually would do a better job on windy days but for the occasional tow isn't really needed....
