I have a 29 Scarab and went from 30” shafts to 25” shafts mounted all the way down. 4 blade bravos and not a problem.

yes FF does leave it slick however, the locations on the trailer you would want to apply this on would generally not be an area where you would be stepping on.

Temp sensor will cause slow mode and not allow you to get over 2000 rpm. Had that issue when I had a pair of Evinrudes. Unplug the sensors and see what happens.

not if you apply it the same way as woody wax. Wet the deck/spray on soft bristled brush and apply/let dry/drench the deck.

Fluid Film. 1/3 the cost of woody wax and looks, feels and even smells the same. Actually, comes in an aerosol can which makes it easier to apply.

Update:

it is possible to remove the part. Held it down on a press and struck the base with a rubber mallet. Came right out.

I would think that there would be a different...

I would think that there would be a different part# for a cylinder with a starboard tiebar connection vs a port tiebar connection if it was not interchangeable.
